7 12 Changes in Answer Format and Updates
Maharashtra Government has recently changed the format of 7 12 Ultra documents to prevent fraud and forgery of documents. The converted document will include the logo and watermark of the concerned department and the Government of Maharashtra. In the new format of 7 12 answers, there will be no clause of the last entry of the landowner. The newly designed format of 7 12 answers will have a new section for village names and village codes.
In a recent development, the Maharashtra government has recommended that land owners in Maharashtra’s Nashik city will get property cards instead of 7 12 Uttar Arrak. So Landowners whose land has been converted from the Green category to the Yellow category or construction zone will be provided property cards in place of 7 12 extracts. Apart from this, property cards will be distributed to MahaRERA-registered flats in the near future. Till now landowners who built property on land had 7-12 extracts, but flat owners did not. And therefore The Maharashtra government has decided to distribute property cards to such flat owners.
