Objective

Following the Right to Education Act, the main objective of RTE Gujarat admission is to give education to every child in the state. Through the program, economically disadvantaged kids can attend private schools and receive an education regardless of their financial situation by reserving a distinct quota for them.

With the support of this project, the economically disadvantaged will have higher literacy rates, a higher standard of living, more student self-sufficiency, and access to high-quality education that will increase their career opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The pupils will be chosen by the officials via a lottery.
  • Through RTE’s official website, students can view their results online.
  • A kid must be at least five years old and no older than seven years old to apply for admission to the Right to Education program.
  • A general category family’s annual income must be at least $68,000.
  • For a household in the ST or SC category, the annual income should be up to 2 lakhs.
  • For OBCs, the annual family income shall not exceed one lakh.

Guidelines for Completing an Online Form

  • The candidate may complete a fresh form if any errors are discovered while filling out the previous one. The previous form will be automatically canceled upon completion of the new one.
  • Action will be taken against the parents for providing fictitious supporting documentation if any of the documents they provided are discovered to be invalid.
  • Students enrolled in Anganwadi Centre courses are required to provide a certified example from the relevant Anganwadi worker or other appropriate authority.
  • According to the resolution, the following categories shall be prioritized when allocating schools:
    • Child orphan
    • A youngster in need of nurturing and defense
    • Kindergarten students
    • Offspring of migrant or child laborers
    • Children with Special Needs / Physically Handicapped, Handicapped (ART), and Dementia/Cerebral Palsy Young patients on antiretroviral therapy
    • Offspring of military, paramilitary, or police personnel who died while on duty
    • A mother and father whose sole kid is a daughter
    • Children enrolled in Anganwadi schools run by the state government
    • Children of BPL families have grades ranging from 0 to 20 in all categories (SC, ST, SEBC, General, and others).
    • Offspring belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) categories
    • Classes That Are Socially and Educationally Backward / Other Backward Classes / Children Who Are Nomadic and Liberal
    • Children in the General Category and Non-Reserved Class
  • Moreover, there is a Rs. 150000 income threshold under RTE for admission.
