Agneepath Scheme Details 2023
- The three Indian defense pillars will select or recruit engineers.
- We will only hire non-commissioned ranks. This implies that all Agniveers will hold positions lower than those of officers.
- The age range for candidates is 17.5-23 for this year, 17.5-21 for the following year, and under 21 for the following year. Candidates who are younger than 21 can still serve as caregivers.
- Upon selection, aides must finish a half-year or six months, mandatory training program.
- For the remaining three and a half years, they must perform their duties at various locations and positions. They will be paid and respectfully retired from their positions as a last resort.
- Only 75% of the Agniveers will be permitted to return, the government has made it very clear, that they will be permitted to continue serving as regular cadres for the duration of their terms.
- Retirement will be voluntary for the remaining 75%. The 25% will be selected solely based on their merit and performance during their term of service.
- 75% of Agniveers will receive financial packages worth 12 lakh upon retirement, per the Seva-Nidhi package.
- After retirement, no Agniveer will receive a pension. Every salary will be exempt from taxes.

Agneepath Scheme Salary
All Agniveers will receive a generous salary during their term of service. However, a monthly deduction of 30% of the salary will be made; this money will be refunded with interest when the employee retires.
- The Agniveers will receive a salary of about $30,000 during the first year. 9,000 (30%) of which will be subtracted and set aside. As a result, the starting salary for the first year will be $21,000 per month.
- A gross salary of 33,000 has been determined for the second year, with an additional 9,900 set aside. Therefore, the monthly in-hand salary for the second year will be $23,100.
- Likewise, the Agniveers will receive a pay increase to $36,500 in the third year. The third year’s in-hand salary, after the deduction of 10,950 rupees, will be 25,550 per month.
- Finally, the salary will increase to $40,000 per month in the last year; however, after a 30% (12,000) deduction, the actual salary will only be about $28,000 per month.
Educational Qualifications:-
- The young candidates need to have received at least 50% of their class 12 science marks and 50% of their class 12 English marks.
- If the candidate completed a three-year engineering diploma program, they will be required to receive at least 50% of the possible points (a minimum of 50% in English is required).
- Candidates must have completed a vocational course with a nonvocational subject and earned at least 50% of the possible points (minimum 50% in English required).
- If the candidate passed the 12th grade in a different subject, they must receive at least 50% of the possible points (minimum 50% in English).
- Should the candidate have finished the professional course two years prior, they must have received at least 50% of the possible points (minimum 50% in English).

Medical Standards:-
