Bihar Mukhyamantri Kanya Uttan Yojana: This scheme has been started by the Government of Bihar to encourage the girls of the state to higher education. Under this scheme, an amount of about ₹ 50000 will be provided to the girls till they get their graduation degree. This amount will be provided to them in instalments from their birth till they get their graduation degree. About 1.50 crore girls will be able to take advantage of this scheme. Only 2 daughters of a family can take advantage of Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana. Under this scheme, funds will be provided by the government to buy sanitary napkins and also to buy uniforms.

In Hindi: यह योजना बिहार सरकार द्वारा राज्य की लड़कियों को उच्च शिक्षा के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए शुरू की गई है। इस योजना के तहत लड़कियों को स्नातक की डिग्री प्राप्त करने तक लगभग ₹50000 की राशि प्रदान की जाएगी। यह राशि उन्हें उनके जन्म से लेकर स्नातक की डिग्री प्राप्त करने तक किस्तों में प्रदान की जाएगी। इस योजना का लाभ करीब 1.50 करोड़ लड़कियां उठा सकेंगी। मुख्यमंत्री कन्या उत्थान योजना का लाभ एक परिवार की केवल 2 बेटियां ही ले सकती हैं। इस योजना के तहत सैनिटरी नैपकिन खरीदने और वर्दी खरीदने के लिए भी सरकार द्वारा धनराशि उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी।

Objectives of Kanya Utthan Yojana

इस योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य राज्य की लड़कियों को उच्च शिक्षा लेने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना है। इस योजना के माध्यम से बिहार की लड़कियों को स्नातक की डिग्री प्राप्त करने तक किश्तों में धनराशि प्रदान की जाएगी। ताकि उन्हें शिक्षा के प्रति प्रोत्साहित किया जा सके। इस योजना के माध्यम से सभी बालिकाएं सशक्त बनेंगी और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में पूरे राज्य का विकास होगा। बिहार मुख्यमंत्री कन्या उत्थान योजना के माध्यम से उच्च शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में लड़कियों का भविष्य उज्ज्वल होगा और वे आत्मनिर्भर बनेंगी। इस योजना के माध्यम से उन सभी माता-पिता को भी आर्थिक सहायता दी जाएगी जो अपनी बेटियों की शिक्षा के लिए धन जुटाने में असमर्थ हैं।

Benefits are given to Kanya Utthan Yojana

विश्वविद्यालय में इस योजना का पैसा जारी करने के लिए एमएसयू के नेतृत्व में चार से पांच आंदोलन किए गए। इस आंदोलन में दरभंगा, मधुबनी, समस्तीपुर और बेगूसराय की छात्राओं ने भाग लिया है. विवि ने राजभवन को भी राशि जारी करने का अनुरोध करते हुए सूचना भेजी है। कन्या उत्थान योजना का पैसा जारी करने के लिए एमएलएसएम कॉलेज के छात्र संघ अध्यक्ष द्वारा भूख हड़ताल भी की गई। इसके बाद विवि प्रशासन हरकत में आया। जिसके बाद छात्राओं के खाते में पैसे ट्रांसफर किए जाते हैं। राशि जारी होने से हितग्राहियों में खुशी का माहौल है। मुख्यमंत्री कन्या उत्थान योजना के तहत विभिन्न प्रकार की सूचियां विश्वविद्यालयों को भेजी जाएंगी। जिसे स्नातक व व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रमों में छात्राओं के अलावा अन्य छात्राओं की भी सूची तैयार कर शिक्षा विभाग को भेजी जाएगी।
