About Ennum Ezhuthum Scheme 2024

This program was started when the state of Tamil Nadu was forced to close its schools for more than 19 months because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Regular lessons are therefore insufficient to bridge this learning gap. As such, the purpose of this program is to provide individualized support to each child. This has led to the formation of a high-level committee. As part of the initiative, children in Classes 1 through 3 will receive workbooks from the education department to assess and close the learning gap. This past week saw the distribution of manuals and an innovative teacher training course. Teachers should encourage students to read newspapers and books from the school library in addition to implementing interactive teaching techniques.
