On August 19, 2021, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mr. Yogi Adityanath has announced the launch of UP Tablet Yojana during his address in the Vidhansabha. Through this scheme, smartphones and tablets will be made available to the youth of the state. About 1 crore youth will benefit from this scheme. A budget of Rs 3000 crore has been set by the government to run this scheme.
Students studying graduation, post graduation, technical and diploma will be able to get the benefit of UP Free Tablet Smartphone Scheme. Under this scheme, digital access will also be provided to the youth for free. Students will be able to gain education through these tablets and smartphones. In the coming time, students will also be able to find jobs through these smartphones and tablets. Apart from this, the UP government has also announced to give allowance to the youth for appearing in competitive examinations.

19 अगस्त 2021 को उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने विधानसभा में अपने संबोधन के दौरान यूपी टैबलेट योजना शुरू करने की घोषणा की है। इस योजना के माध्यम से राज्य के युवाओं को स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट उपलब्ध कराये जायेंगे। इस योजना से करीब 1 करोड़ युवाओं को फायदा होगा. इस योजना को चलाने के लिए सरकार द्वारा 3000 करोड़ रुपये का बजट निर्धारित किया गया है. यूपी फ्री टैबलेट स्मार्टफोन योजना का लाभ ग्रेजुएशन, पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन, टेक्निकल और डिप्लोमा की पढ़ाई करने वाले छात्र प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।
