The auspicious beginning of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 has been launched by the Prime Minister of our country Narendra Modi on 10 August 2021 through video conferencing. Under which refill and hot plate, LPG gas connection will be made available free of cost to the beneficiaries. A self-declaration has to be submitted to provide proof of your address. Apart from this, it was also told on this occasion that during the Karona call. Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
Any applicant who fulfills the criteria given below is eligible to apply for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana:
- The applicant must be a female above 18 years of age. And she should also be a citizen of India.
- She should belong to a below-poverty-line family and no other person in the household should have an LPG connection.
- So the total monthly income of the family should not exceed a certain limit prescribed by the Union/State Governments.
- The name of the applicant should appear in the SECC-2011 list and should also match the information provided in the BPL database of the Oil Marketing Companies.
- The applicant should not be registered under any other similar scheme provided by the Govt.
- Apart from the above, the applicant should also submit a set of documents indicating his BPL status, identity, etc.
